Business Essentials for Scientists (BES) is a dynamic yearly course organised by The University of Turku and Åbo Akademi and designed to equip doctoral students and researchers with a business mindset. This year only the top 20 applicants were selected to embark on this 4-week program to learn about starting their own company, managing their finances, leveraging their patents and most importantly pitching their research/idea.

It was our pleasure be part of BES-2020 and to conduct two pitch training workshops for such brilliant and ambitious doctoral students. We even got lucky to have real investors in our second session to mimic the REAL LIFE SITUATION of pitching.
